Summer's Doggy Dayschool Report

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: Our first session with Summer focused on her loose lead walking. She demonstrated a good loose lead structure for most of the session and has great engagement. Summer was occasionally distracted by the various smells on grass, but was able to refocus on the trainer and responded well to rewards. Continue the good work at home and build the level of distractions such as new environments to further push this skill. Focus: Distraction B
Skill learnt: Recall Comment: The second session for today was Summer’s recall. She was able to recall on a verbal cue and completed the skill in a front facing sit. Summer recalled off lead in the playpen, despite the high level of distractions. She was occasionally hesitant, but with some extra encouragement and positive reinforcement, she would recall to the trainer. Practice this skill at home, gradually increasing the distance and distractions to strengthen it further. Focus: Distraction B
Skill learnt: Obstacle Course (Confidence Building) Comment: To finish off the day, Summer tackled the confidence course! She pushed herself to climb over the A frame which was a great achievement. Summer showed some uncertainty with the tyres and the wobbly bridge, hence she was unable to complete the full course. She is continually building her confidence more each week which is so great to see! Focus: Repetition C+
