It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: For her first session the trainer worked on her loose lead. Today this session was done outside in high distraction environments with a focus on engagement. She did great this first session, she didn’t pull on the lead almost at all and the few times she did she knew she had to return to the trainers side. Grass can still get a bit distracting for her but she recovers really well and is able to break off the smelly grass when instructed and returns to the trainer,m. She needs a little work on her turning while loose lead walking as she does get a little confused with inside turns but besides this her loose lead is looking great! Focus: Manners C+
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: For her second session today she was tested on her place skill. With a focus on distraction and send her to place she was worked in the class room today as there were a few dogs working in here and the trainer used them as a distraction. On top of the other dogs the trainer also started dropping treats all around Summer trying to get her to break off place. She resisted this temptation really well and waited for her “free” command before even trying to eat the treats on the floor. She had a bit more trouble being sent to place and so this was focused on a little more today. To help summer the trainer started right next to the place bed but would take a step away each time they did this exercise, the trainer was able to successfully increase the distance they were able to send Summer to place. Focus: Distraction C+
Skill learnt: Middle Position Comment: To end the day with some fun and on a positive note the trainer did some middles with Summer. The objective today was to get Summer doing a nice solid spin from going through the legs initially and spinning round to the final position. She struggled a little as she has gotten use to sitting as her first thing so to help with this the trainer had to really entice her to move from her initial sit position, once she was up she spun all on her own and quickly so we just have to phase out the initial sit and she will be doing this skill amazingly! Focus: Repetition B
