Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: In her first session Stella focused on further developing her skill loose lead walking around the Pet Retreat facility. Stella was initially excited for training and struggled to show engagement. However as the session progressed she slowly began to redirect her focus onto the trainer. She can loose focus when additional distractions are added, including people, dogs or birds, but she does redirect her focus quickly. Focus: Distraction B
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: In her second session, Stella focused on further developing her drop within the high distracting classroom (multiple dogs and people moving around). Stella responds well to the verbal cue drop and a hand signal, she shows good duration but can break when distractions are added. The trainer focused on building duration and moving around her while in drop. The trainer was successfully able to walk around her while she remained in a drop. Focus: Distance B
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: In her final session, Stella focused on further developing her skill send to place with distance within the classroom. We focused on this skill to build her knowledge of place. Stella responds very well to the place command and shows good duration. When sent to the place she performs well with short distance but can struggle with the distance is increased. However, as the session progressed she began to perform well despite the trainer's distance. This would be a great aspect of her place to practise at home. Start with small distances one meter and slowly increase as she performs well. Focus: Distance B
