|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Desensitisation||Comment: Steele’s first session was noise conditioning. Our groomer was using the dryer so the trainer sat on a step with Steele, using the yes marker and although worried at first Steele soon settled. Next stop was the vacuum in the kitchen. Again at first Steele was not keen to go into the room. However food won out and by then Steele was standing next to the vacuum while it was running. Well done Steele.||Focus: Repetition||B+|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: Second session for Steele was drop. This was done in the classroom with Sadie. Steele progressed well after not wanting to hold the position for very long. The trainer used a few more treats to help Steele stay in position. Practice this at home in the backyard to help Steele learn to resist the distractions.||Focus: Distraction||C+|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: Loose lead walking was the focus of Steele’s final session and he was keen to pull towards the smells at first. The trainer worked in a small area in the car park and with no grass it is a lower distracting environment. Because of this Steele started to engage more with the trainer and walked well. If he did start to pull the trainer changed direction. Practice this at home in a small area with low distractions||Focus: Repetition||B|

B: Great Work (80-89%) I mostly understand, Almost neat & complete! Needs practice in some areas. Mild distractions
C: Well Done (70-79%) Some good progress. Needs work, but on my way. Still learning. Low distractions.
D: Beginning (60-69%) My journey is just beginning, I don’t understand just yet. Introduction phase. No distraction.
E: Unable to Progress. Needs major focus, seek further options to assist.
X: Not gradable, the focus was on Enrichment, Socialisation & Engagement.
