Skill | Comment | We focused on | Grade |
---|---|---|---|
Skill learnt: Place Training | Comment: First session we worked on his place skill, we first started with distance then eventually worked on sending him to place from a distance. He was still excited but he is learning as he has started to lay down on place straight away which is awesome. | Focus: Repetition | A |
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down | Comment: Secondly we worked on his drop skill, we were working on getting him to drop from us standing and not having treats in our hand when using the hand signal, he progressed well with this. We were also focusing on his release word and making sure that was nice and solid. | Focus: Distraction | B+ |
Skill learnt: Conditioning | Comment: Lastly we worked on his door manners, we for him to drop as he is more solid at the drop rather then the sit. Every now and then he struggled but progressed well towards the end. | Focus: Repetition | B |
