Squid's Doggy Dayschool Report

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: Squid’s first session was place. He did have the sillys on to start with and was bouncing around! He didn’t take long to settle. He popped off a couple of times following the trainer but again soon started staying on place. The trainer had a bubble blower so decided to use that as a bit of distraction for Squid. He wasn’t keen on the bubbles but held place!! Well done! Focus: Distraction B
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: Next session for Squid was loose lead walking. He really struggled at first and was pulling to the grassed area to get to the good smells. The trainer kept him in the car park area away from the grass and this helped him focus. During his stay it will be good to work towards Squid being able to walk well in the grassed areas. Focus: Repetition C+
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: Drops were the final session for Squid and his duration has been an issue in the past. Today wasn’t different! However towards the end of the session he was holding longer. He still gets a touch of the crazies and wants to bounce around! Which although is funny not really helpful to having a dog who drops when told!! Working on his duration will be the focus of the future session. He wasn’t taking treats at all these sessions so he got lots of pats instead!! Focus: Duration C+

We recommend your next step should be…
