|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: Squid’s first session was loose lead walking in the kennels. Unlike last time Squid really struggled with this. The trainer changed directions continuously and Squid did settle a little. Once outside it was a similar situation and he took a little to settle. By the end of the session he had progressed well and only pulling occasionally.||Focus: Distraction||C+|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: Squid’s second session was drop. After last week Squid did will with no jumping. He was breaking quite frequently but as the session progressed Squid was staying in position for much longer periods. Squid was enjoying ear scratches so the trainer used them as Squids reward for doing a great job.||Focus: Distance||C|
|Skill learnt: Conditioning||Comment: The trainer took over Squid’s bath for his final session. It was a great conditioning session for him. He did struggle to even go in the washroom. Once he was in the trainer worked with him to not struggle to avoid the water. By the end of the bath he was a bit more accepting. He was not happy about the dryer and did try to bite it. Again the trainer worked with Squid and by the end Squid, although not happy, he stopped trying to bite it. Awesome work Squid.||Focus: Conditioning||X|
