It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: Squid’s first session was loose lead walking outside. He was pulling initially but as the trainer kept changing direction and giving in to the direction Squid wanted to pull towards, he did start to do better. Squid was still keen to smell everything but was generally sniffing as he walked. At times he did pull towards some good smells but the trainer walked in the other direction and Squid settled for sniffing while walking! Focus: Distraction C+
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: Squid’s second session was place. This was done with a dog in close proximity and Squid did struggle. He was very vocal and a number of times he broke place to pull towards the other dog. The trainer couldn’t move to far away from Squid or he would step off. At home reduce the distractions a little when practicing at home so that he can have success and it won’t take long before he is back to holding place better again. Focus: Distraction C
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: Last up for Squid was drops outside which he did a great job. At first he was breaking as soon as the trainer mover around him but as the session progressed so did Squid! Even with dogs in the kennel yards he held his position. It will be great to build on this so the trainer is able to move more around Squid. Focus: Distraction B
