|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: In his first session, Sonny focused on further developing his skill 'drop' with dog distractions. We focused on this skill to build his impulse control surrounding dogs. Sonny responds well to the verbal cue 'drop' despite distractions. He initially struggled to hold duration, but with some guidance he quickly began to maintain it well. Sonny successfully remain in drop while two other dogs were in the classroom, one dog was performing a high energy and stimulating game. Sonny settled and began to fall asleep despite these distractions.||Focus: Distraction||B+|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: In his second session, Sonny focused on learning the new skill 'roll over' under dog distractions. We focused on this skill to begin working towards earning his trick title. Sonny happily followed the lure and successfully rolled over. The trainer worked on reducing the lure.||Focus: Foundation||C+|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: In his final session, Sonny focused on learning the new skill 'middle' with repetitions while outside. We focused on this skill to begin working on his trick title. Sonny showed no knowledge of this skill. While training outside, Sonny was distracted by the environment. However as the session progressed he quickly began to redirect his focus and follow the lure. We suggest contouring to practice this skill at home.||Focus: Foundation||C|
