Sonny was a great student today, very well engaged and eager to please. Such a fun boy to work with.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: For Sonnys forst session today we focused on his loose leash skill. Sonny did great in this session and maintained a very good level of engagement. We worked in multiple different areas with different distractions (people, other dogs and cats) which he was awesome with. Sonny barely applied any pressure at any stage of the session and was happy to follow when changing directions. Such a good boy!||Focus: Repetition||A|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: For Sonnys second session we worked on his drop skill. Sonny seems to have a good understanding of this skill so we decided to challenge him by upgrading to emergency drops (drop cue whilst moving in a forward direction) this seemed to really test Sonny but toward the end of the session was beginning to grasp the concept of the skill and was dropping with his trainer moving forward in a slow pace. I would love to see this worked on at home, start inside the house, then the backyard then the front yard.||Focus: Repetition||B|
|Skill learnt: Play||Comment: For Sonnys final session we played with red light green light. Using toys we got sonny really excited and playing before requesting a skill (place, drop and sit) as soon as Sonny performed the skill he was rewarded with more play. Sonny had a lot of fun during this session and so did the trainer! Sonny demonstrates a very clear understand of his skills and this is a great way to further his engagement when working with his handlers. Well done Sonny!||Focus: Repetition||A|
