Sofia's Doggy Dayschool Report

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Recall Comment: For her recall skill today we worked outside with the long line. She did awesome at this skill and came back 95% of the time. When she came back to the trainer she received her reward and also got her practicing her spins to help her really remain focused on the trainer so she would enjoy running back to them. To work on this further working around dogs and other people would be a great next step. This should come after the loose lead walking is at a better level so she can be taken places without pulling! Focus: Distraction B+
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: For this session we worked on Sofia’s loose lead outside. She was quite distracted and would run off in all directions and pull on the lead. To avoid this we worked on her spins whilst walking along. She really enjoys doing this and improved with her engagement. This still needs a lot of work in distracting environments however she did alright! To work on it further, practice at home or in the back yard and slowly progress to the front yard and street. Focus: Distraction C+
Skill learnt: Sit Comment: For her last training session today we had her working on her sit durations. She is much the same as Leo and will stand up very quickly after sitting down. We worked on short bursts and rewarding her a couple times quickly while in position and then releasing her not soon after so she doesn’t have time to break on her own. This can be practiced in low distraction environments and eventually increasing the time between each reward. Focus: Duration C+

We recommend your next step should be…
