Sofia's Doggy Dayschool Report

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: In her first session today we trained place skill, this skill is a self soothe skill and a great skill for dogs to learn for either when your having people over and not wanting her to jump on them you send her to place, or if you want her to settle around other dogs as well, which we did today we had another dog doing the same in the classroom as well. She’s only new to this skill so with some simple luring she did great. Next level I’d still like to work on this skill with her. Focus: Duration C+
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: In her second session we trained loose lead walking. This skill we did inside around another dog, she was to distracted outside and it’s a lot harder to get a dogs engagement back then it is to already have it so we want her to walk perfectly on the lead inside first before outside. She didn’t do to bad needs more work but no dog knows how to walk properly on lead that’s why we have to train the skill. Focus: Duration C+
Skill learnt: Sit Comment: In her last session today we trained sit, we tried to train her drop but she wouldn’t follow a lure or she wouldn’t go under our legs to try and get her to drop. So we’re going to teach her to old her sit, then she might be able to go from the sit to the drop if we work on her duration in the sit. She is holding her sits now but trying to use less treats. Focus: Duration B
