|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: Silas was very over excited to begin her first session and we needed to take a step back as she was not listening at first. We practiced her Place skill to get her focused. She had no issue running to the bed when she saw it but would not stay for the first part. After some repetitions she began holding it until released with "break" and we were able to get at least 10 meters of distance. If you would like to learn more about training "place' check out our video here: https://youtu.be/0J02YBayzpU||Focus: Repetition||B|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: Our second session we introduced the "down" skill. At first she would nibble at my hand but refused to put her butt down. When she finally did it once and was heavily rewarded it was not hard to get her to stay in position. Once down, if she stayed she would be marked "yes" and rewarded several times before being released. A great start for a new skill at her age. You can find more about training the Drop here: https://youtu.be/P96H86eEwWU||Focus: Repetition||A|
|Skill learnt: Crate Training||Comment: Due to Silas being extremely loud and appears stressed when left alone we focused on her crate training for her third session. She has no issue going in and out but appears to have learnt her screams get attention. Please snure Silas gets regular alone time at home and is ignored 100% if screaming. This can be difficult to do but it will be much harder later on.||Focus: Repetition||A+|
