Shelby's Doggy Dayschool Report

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: In her first session, Shelby focused on further developing her skill drop around the facility. We focused on this skill to proof her drop under a variety of distractions. Shelby responds well to the verbal cue drop but struggled to hold duration. As the session progressed she began to hold her drops for longer, she can become distracted and break again, but with some guidance, she performs well. Focus: Distraction B+
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: In her second session, Shelby was a little nervous in the classroom, she wasn't taking treats. To help boost her confidence and build her engagement the trainer focused on practising her loose lead with play. Shelby was initially not interested in playing but was walking well despite dog distractions. Once she started to relax she engaged with play well and started to boost her confidence. By the end of this session, Shelby was showing good engagement and much better confidence within the classroom. Focus: Confidence B
Skill learnt: Middle Position Comment: In her final session, Shelby focused on further developing her skills middle within the classroom. Shelby was much more herself during this session and enjoyed furthering her knowledge of this skill. Shelby initially required a lure to go into the correct position (walk around the trainer and stand in between their legs). As the session progressed this lure began to fade as she continued to perform well. Focus: Foundation B
