Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: Shelby began her day practicing her ‘drop’ skill, focusing on duration with distractions. She did really well! Shelby withstood all the trainer’s distractions! Normally Shelby crawls a little in her drop when excited, but she has proven to gotten better with that, awesome work at home! Remember if she does crawl to use “ah ah”. Keep pushing her with the distractions at home too! Focus: Distraction B+
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: Next up, Shelby worked on her ‘loose lead’ walking in the classroom and the cattery. Shelby was very distracted today and did not do her best walking. She also stopped taking treats half way through the session, but after some pets she was good to go again. Keep practicing this at home with her and rebuild her engagement with either a higher value treat or her favourite toy, just anything to get her attention! Focus: Distraction C+
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: To finish up, Shelby worked on her ‘place training’ with added drops too, as she was being a little naughty. She did super well though! Shelbs went to and from place when asked, and even dropped when told in between a few reps. She was in the classroom with a dog reactive doggo and did so well ignoring him. She struggled to go to place from a greater distance, so work on that at home! Good work, baby Shelby! Focus: Distraction A
