It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: First session Shadow worked on his place skill. Today we worked on his obedience and send to place from a heightened state of arousal (playing with a tug). Shadow initially took a bit to settle and focus on the task at hand. Once he was focused he did well being sent to play while mid game of tug. He also held his duration well. Keep working on this skill at home and increasing his duration. Focus: Obedience C+
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: Shadows second session we worked on his sit and drop skill. Today we did quick repetitions of the skills to keep his engagement on the trainer and build his focus as he was still a bit distracted at the beginning of this session. He needed a slight hand signal to help get into positions but overall was responding well to verbal cues. Keep working on these skills at home and building up his duration in familiar environments. Focus: Repetition B
Skill learnt: Paws Up (on object) Comment: Final session Shadow worked on Paws Up. This skill as the name suggests is getting him to put his front paws up onto an object. This skill is a bit of fun but also helps build rear end awareness and can be used out and about to help build engagement. To teach this we lured shadow up onto the pod until both his front paws were on, marked yes and the released. Shadow is still in the early stages of this but with some more practise we can begin adding the verbal cue “paws up” and building duration. Focus: Foundation B
