We revisited the basics today to cement her understanding of her new skills and she did great!
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!
"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."
|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Exposure||Comment: The first session worked on a variety of different skills! The trainer worked on sit, drop, middles, recall and loose lead within the session. She was asked for a skill at random to see if she understood the verbal and hand cues clearly and was not just guessing what the trainer wanted. She did really well with this and the trainer noticed that by mixing up the skills she was more focused!||Focus: Repetition||A|
|Skill learnt: Recall||Comment: Senka has been doing so well with her recalls on the long line therefore the trainer added environmental and dog distractions. With another trainer and dog nearby Senka successfully recalled multiple times throughout the session. By doing this outside there were many other distractions to keep her busy!||Focus: Conditioning||A|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: To finish up on our last training session we focused on her loose lead around the facility. Senka can still be easily distracted however she has showed huge improvement with her engagement and recovery from following her nose too much! She does not fight any lead pressure and will come into with ease as we continue to walk. Once she picks up a scent her mind can wander but she is doing so much better with her walking!||Focus: Back to Basics||B+|
