Seb was a little slow today due to the weather however he was actually really good for the frisbee considering, he still put in the work with the trainer and even made some progress with his place skill!
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

|We focused on
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)
|Comment: Since it was so hot today the trainer just wanted to take it super slow with Seb today as the heat seemed to be effecting him as well. He was taken straight into the classroom in order to avoid the heat and was walked around the classroom slowly. The session today was focused on getting Seb to sit or drop on his own when ever the trainer stopped. This started by getting him into a sit with a command however as the e session went on he started doing it all on his own! Even though he was off today due to the weather he still worked with the trainer as much as he could which is a great sign that he has really come far with his confidence with the male trainer which we love to see.
|Skill learnt: Place Training
|Comment: Like his first session the trainer just took it slow today with Seb due to the heat. For his place training today however even with the distraction of the heat the trainer was able to make some progress! The goal of todays session was to get Seb to be sent to “place” multiple times without a reward, this shows us that Seb has an understanding of the skill and gives a good indication of where he is at in the training process. He was able to be sent to and from 2 place beds and the couch at a short distance today which was actually great for Seb! The trainer was very happy with his performance this session!
|Skill learnt: Targeting (touch)
|Comment: For his last session today Seb was taken through a nice easy session of touch to finish out his day. By this last session Seb was very tired from the heat and so the trainer just worked on the couch with him since this is where he is the most relaxed. His touch is coming along amazingly, the trainer is able to put the touch pole in all sorts of different positions and ask for the skill with the verbal command “touch” and Seb actually leaned forward every single time today! Not only this but he also actively sought out the touch pole in order to get the reward, this is showing the trainer some really good understanding of this skill and the trainer couldn’t be happier! Again Seb proved to the trainers today just how far he has come out of his shell and even though he was a little slow due to the weather today he still did so well progressing and pushing his skills!
