|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: Scout continued his place training first up today. He was quite excited at first and took a while to remember to stay on place. However as the session progressed Scout did calm down and start to focus. The trainer made big movements around Scout while he was on place and jumped up and down. He did great. He broke a couple of times but continued to improve. The trainer also worked on send to place from a distance. Scout did well and next time will be great to increase that distance.||Focus: Repetition||D+|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: Drops was the focus of the second session for Scout. The trainer did this in the kennel aisle with Scout and he did so well considering the distractions. The trainer had to lure Scout in position still but Scout got in position quickly and towards the end of the session was staying in position. It was no surprise that Scout did break at the start of the session given the trainer was asking him to do a newish skill in a very distracting environment. The trainer, however, was very impressed with Scout's performance. Next time it will be great to see Scout improve further and resist those distractions. .||Focus: Repetition||D+|
|Skill learnt: Obstacle Course (Confidence Building)||Comment: To help Scout experience new things and environments the trainer took Scout to the Confidence course. Scout was a little hesitant at first but it didn't take long before he was running around the course with the trainer. It was great to see him tackle all the different things around him while he navigated the course. Well done Scout.||Focus: Desensitisation||X|
