Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Sit Comment: Scooter was very excited to be back in the classroom for his training. We started off with some sits. Initially he did need a bit of a lure but was then back to following the hand signal into sits. His duration has improved in his sits and he now holds it for a good duration before being released. We worked on tidying up his hand signal without a lure and having him get out of it when given the release signal. Keep up the great work at home, he is picking up this skill very quickly. Focus: Duration B
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: For his second session we worked on drops with Scooter. Scooter has also really improved in his drops - he easily follows a lure into drop and like his sit he is very good at holding it until released! Some of this skill may have been helped by Scooter starting to get tired but still a fantastic effort on his part! Keep working on his duration at home and starting to build up distractions while he is in drop. Focus: Duration B+
Skill learnt: Exposure Comment: For his last session we attempted some touch exposure with different surfaces. Scooter was quite tired by this session and did struggle a bit to go over the items as everytime he felt the lead he would back up. Once he was able to have the lead off and some of the barriers removed he did much better and was even playing with the trainer while walking on bubblewrap, rubber and tarp surfaces. Focus: Confidence X
