2023-10-03

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: First session Scooter worked on his drops. Today we worked out on the grass around another dog for some extra distractions. Scooter held his drops well and had no interest in the other dog nearby, he only broke early a couple of times, once for some higher energy trainer movement and the other when another trainer came past who he wanted to say hello too. Focus: Distraction B
Skill learnt: Middle Position Comment: Scooters second session we worked on his middles skill. While he can do this skill well, he can be a bit cheeky and need the guidance of a lure to help get him into the motions. When finishing in a sit in the middles position he will hold the position until his release cue. We have started to add some movement while in middles by luring him a few steps then rewarding Focus: Repetition B
Skill learnt: Trick Training Comment: Final session we had some fun with trick training. Scooter worked on his bang skill. While he can sometimes roll all the way over he will happily follow the lure around and lay on his side and hold the duration well. We worked on conditioning the hand signal for this skill but still needs some practise before he’s reliable in it. Focus: Duration B

We recommend your next step should be…
