Scooter's Doggy Dayschool Report

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: Scooter began his day practicing his ‘drop’ skill, focusing on his duration while the trainer walks away from him. He did awesome! There were a couple times Scooter would break, but he responds very well to his “ah ah” hand signal and would always go back into a drop. The trainer was able to run laps of the classroom with him in a drop and he would only come once he was released with his hand signal, and would always come and sit in front of the trainer awaiting his reward. Keep practicing this at home with him! It is awesome to see his progress! Focus: Duration B+
Skill learnt: Spin Comment: Next up, Scooter practiced his ‘loose lead’ walking while adding in his ‘spin’ skill. His loose lead was beautiful and definitely an A, but his spins were a bit slow and he needed a very heavy lure. Keep pushing this skill with him at home and see how you go. Maybe practice spins on the spot, then work up to adding it in his loose lead. Focus: Repetition C+
Skill learnt: Conditioning Comment: To finish off, Scoot had a bath! He was such a good boy for this and happily stood there, basking in the warm water while taking treats. He got a bit upset and antsy when the trainer proceeded to attempt and scrub out the paint in his fur, but she got most of it! You might just need to brush a bit out! Focus: Conditioning A
