Sarai's Doggy Dayschool Report

2024-01-16

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: This session we worked on her manners when collecting her. She was very excited that she struggled to settle for the trainer to attach equipment. Every time she started jumping or running around the trainer stood still, once she calmed down we would then attempt again. This took her quite a while to settle, once she did though we could attach the muzzle and lead and progress outside. Since it is very busy in the kennels, we chose to work with her muzzle on for safety. Once outside we worked on her loose lead and drops near the gate, she was very vocal and her engagement was hit and miss. We were able to get some decent walking and drops, but I think she was just so excited to be back that she struggled to settle and engage with the trainer. Focus: Manners C+
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: This session we worked on some place/on and drops near people distraction. She really struggled to settle and her listening skills were hit and miss - again super excited to be back. She did perform her skills but she needed a few reminders and resets. Focus: Distraction C+
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: Her last session she showed some better engagement. We were able to work around some gardener distractions, practicing her drops, loose lead and sit. She was still quite excitable but was showing much better impulse control. Focus: Distraction B

We recommend your next step should be…
