2024-02-07

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: Sandy was a bit of an excitable girl coming out of the kennels so we had to spend a bit of time settling her on the lead to stop her pulling and jumping in excitement for training. Once settled we did a bit of loose lead before finishing with her valentines and spa day photos for our month of love theme. She was happy to lie down for photos but does love her sooky face haha! Focus: Manners B
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: For her second session we worked on her loose lead outside on the grass. Added distractions included: wheelbarrow being moved, van driving past, sprinkler on, handyman working nearby and another trainer working with a dog. She did well with most of the distractions but did lose focus when the van and wheelbarrow was moving so still some room to improve there! Focus: Distraction B
Skill learnt: Middle Position Comment: For her last session we started some work on the middles skill. She wasn't as treat motivated this session (mostly just wanted cuddles) so we only managed to get a few repetitions of this skill. Initially she would drop as soon as she was between the trainer's legs but we were able to encourage her into a sit for a few of them. This is a fun trick skill for a lot of dogs and something we can do during her dayschools to add in something a little different! Focus: Foundation C+

We recommend your next step should be…
