2022-04-20

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: Sammy began his first day of non-wedding prep, practicing his ‘drop’ skill through red light green light. It was safe to say he LOVED it!! He was a perfect boy and stopped play and dropped each time he was asked. Keep pushing this skill at home to ensure he remains strong with it, seeing as he is such a boisterous boy it is important for him to stop when he is told. Great job, Sammy! Focus: Distraction A
Skill learnt: Trick Training Comment: Next up, Sammy worked on his ‘sit pretty’ trick, focusing on duration and getting him to hold himself up, rather than using his paws to support himself on the trainer. Sammy did quite well, but struggled to hold himself up for longer than a second with the extra support. Keep practicing this skill at home and let us know how you go! He is a clever boy and with lots of practice and persistence he can get there! Focus: Duration B
Skill learnt: Trick Training Comment: To finish up, Sammy worked on his ‘leg weave’ skill, where Sampson is lured through the trainers legs as they walk. He did really well! Sammy follows a lure beautifully and was able to walk up and down the classroom like this. Keep practicing this skill at home and begin to fade the lure once he is performing the skill even better. Great work today buddy! Focus: Repetition B+
