|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: Another drop session in the kitchen for Sadie first up and she smashed it! When the trolley was rolled in Sadie thought about breaking position but the trainer upped the treats and Sadie held position. She did break when the trainer walked around her to get the the bin but all in all it was a big improvement from earlier in the week.||Focus: Distraction||B|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: Next up was loose lead walking in the training area. Sadie was very distracted by the smells in the grass so the trainer used an engagement game with treats to help teach Sadie that the trainer had far better treats than what was in the grass. From there Sadie was a lot more focused and her walking was great. She did pull a few times but the trainer changed direction to get Sadie’s focus back. Another great session.||Focus: Distraction||C+|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: Last session the trainer worked on a confidence trick with Sadie. Middle. She was very nervous to come through the trainer legs at the start but as the session progressed did much better. Toward the end of the session Sadie had clearly had enough of this trick so the trainer introduced paws up to Sadie. She took to this much quicker and it wasn’t long before she had both paws up on the item!! Tricks like these builds confidence in dogs and are both great to use to get focus back on walks. Well done Sadie.||Focus: Repetition||C|
