Sadie's Doggy Dayschool Report

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: For the first session today Sadie worked on her drops, focusing mainly on duration. We started out with a short duration to start with and slowly built it up. To do this, we got her into position and rewarded heavily and then released quickly. Gradually extending the time between dropping and releasing. To improve this it needs to be repeated, Sadie is very smart and has picked this up super quick. Focus: Duration C+
Skill learnt: Ring a Bell Comment: For Sadies second session today we worked on her ringing the bell. This means she has to tug the little rope attached to make it ‘ding’. To start off with we just wanted her to look/sniff the rope to slowly build up an association. She showed it some interest but was more focused on finding the treat in the trainers hand. To further work on this, more conditioning will be needed. However she did very well, just needs practice. Focus: Foundation C+
Skill learnt: Obstacle Course (Confidence Building) Comment: Sadie loved the confidence course she started running around it, following the trainer. At first she was a bit hesitant but after she realised it’s fun you couldn’t stop her! This is really good because she quickly overcame her fears! Focus: Confidence B
