Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: In sadie’s first session today we trained the skill place this skills is a great skill for a dog to self sooth, and a place where we can send them to either when we’re eating or have people over. Because she’s new to this skill we lured her on to the object which is a bed, and say “yes” and reward with food, when releasing her from place we say break. She did do pretty well with this few time she broke without the trainer saying but other then that she did fantastic. In her next level I’d still like to work on this with her. Focus: Duration B
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: In her second session today we trained drops, this skill is great to have when dogs are either coming up to you or people and you don’t want your dog to interact with them, eventually putting her into a drop while you walk of and deal with other dogs or people. We started today with luring her into the drop, the slowing down the treats to help improve her duration. She did pretty well still practicing the duration but she did great. Focus: Duration B+
Skill learnt: Obstacle Course (Confidence Building) Comment: In sadie’s last session today we took her to the Confidence course, she did so well today with all her training, wanted to do something fun for her last one and something that she loves. Focus: Repetition A+

We recommend your next step should be…
