Skill | Comment | We focused on | Grade |
---|---|---|---|
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down | Comment: In rue’s first session we worked on his drops with distance. He did really well in this drops we were able to take a few steps back then rewarding him. Next time I would like to be able to walk around him while he’s in a drop, that’s what we were working on today. | Focus: Distraction | C+ |
Skill learnt: Place Training | Comment: In his second session today we focused on his place skill with duration and distance. First we did small repetitions small amount of duration and built it over the session, when then worked on his distance, he did do to bad with this but I think we work on this next with him. | Focus: Distance | B |
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) | Comment: Rue’s last session we worked on his loose lead walking and his recall. We did these skills inside because he had no engagement outside it was to distracting for him. He did struggle abit with his loose lead walking but by the end he gave me engagement and stoped pulling. With his recall today we were on charging the word ‘come’ because if we say come he doesn’t know what that means, so saying the word ‘come’ then reward he will then learn when we say come he gets a treats. | Focus: Repetition | C+ |
