Ruby's Doggy Dayschool Report

2023-10-05

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: For her first session we worked on the place skill, incorporating different place objects, utilising distractions and sending to place from a distance. Ruby was so happy to be training and kept good duration on place even with toy and movement distractions. She was a little unsure of the different place objects but tried very hard to stay on them! We were also able to send her to the main bed place from about 1m away. Well done Ruby! Focus: Distraction B
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: Ruby tried to be cheeky with a different trainer today and wasn't initially dropping without food lured. After a few repetitions and seeing she wasn't going to get away with the easy road she did improve and start doing drops with a lesser hand signal while moving around the classroom. Her duration was OK but she did get up if the trainer approached with a treat after saying "yes" so just watch out for that bit of cheekiness! Focus: Distraction C+
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: For her last session we worked on loose lead in the classroom around Diesel. She was initially distracted but within a minute was pretty much ignoring him and showing good engagement to the trainer. Rewarding her each time she "checks in" while walking will help her improve her focus around other distractions (including her brother!) Focus: Distraction B

We recommend your next step should be…
