Our feedback
Rosie worked hard today on her skills outside in the nice weather. We upped the distraction to test her, with Rosie trying hard throughout the day.
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

Skill | Comment | We focused on | Grade |
---|---|---|---|
Skill learnt: Place Training | Comment: We went out to the carpark with Rosie to work on her place skill. We focused on upping the distraction today, adding in fast movement while she was on place. This made Rosie up off before her release word throughout the first half of the lesson, as we continued working; it took more and more movement to make her up off, staying on for the majority of the remainder of the lesson. | Focus: Distraction | B |
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) | Comment: Rosie went outside to work on her loose lead walking. We went to a grassy area to up the distraction for Rosie. This was a challenge for her as she wanted to stop and sniff all the smells in the grass. As we continued walking, Rosie started to engage with her trainer | Focus: Distraction | C+ |
Skill learnt: Middle Position | Comment: Rosie finished working on her middles skills. Rosie would happily go through our legs one way but wouldn't want to stay between them, zooming straight back out. We focused on getting her to stay between our legs, going into a sit. As we practiced, Rosie started to understand what we were asking of her, studying between our legs until her release word. | Focus: Foundation | C+ |
