Our feedback
Rosie had a fun day training out in the sun. She worked with a new trainer today, taking a little bit of time to engage with the new person. Once she did, Rosie tried very hard for all her treats.
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!
"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."
Skill | Comment | We focused on | Grade |
---|---|---|---|
Skill learnt: Place Training | Comment: Rosie went outside to work on her place skill in the carpark. We had some dogs in the paddocks to each side of Rosie to add in a distraction. We focused on sending Rosie to place from a distance, As well as her duration in the skill. Rosie happily went to the bed from the entire length of the last but stepped off the bed before her release word periodically. After a bit of repetition, Rosie was staying with all 4 paws on the bed until given her release word | Focus: Distance | B |
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) | Comment: Rosie went outside to the carpark to work on her loose lead walking. We focused on her engagement in the skill. Rosie pulled ahead a few times as we started the skill but after a few repetitions we got her engagement, with her staying by her trainer’s side. She got distracted every now and then but spent most of the lesson with her full attention on the trainer | Focus: Repetition | B+ |
Skill learnt: Trick Training | Comment: Rosie finished her day off with her spin skill. Rosie needed a treat to lure her around into the spin as we started so we practiced phasing out the treat throughout the lesson. With some repetition we got Rosie to consistently spin with just the verbal spin and a hand gesture. | Focus: Repetition | C+ |
