|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Conditioning||Comment: Prior to Rolo's swims the trainer focused on conditioning Rolo to the environment. There were a lot of people going in and out with dogs and carriers, on top of this there was another trainer walking her dog back and forth near Rolo. Rolo pulled quite heavily to begin with but once settled in a drop he he watched the distractions and wasn't phased. Another big dog arrived at the end of the carpark and was reactive towards and the trainer was proud of Rolo remaining in drop and ignoring the dog.||Focus: Desensitisation||B|
|Skill learnt: Conditioning||Comment: Rolo was pumped to get back in the pool for hydro! The trainer will work on encouraging him to relax before going in as he was very distracted and was not following through with commands (yep...he was that excited!). Once in the pool the Hydrotherapist's got him to do laps with a toy in his mouth as getting him to chase the toy was too stimulating for him and was affecting his coordination with swimming. Once he was more settled the trainer was able to throw the toy and encouraged him to fetch and then return it. The Hydrotherapist's loved his enthusiasm and said that he is improving with his swimming.||Focus: Foundation||B|
