|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: In his first session, Roddy focused on building his confidence in the classroom and further developing his drop using play. During this session, the trainer played with Roddy, as he enjoys playing this helps condition this environment as a positive. While playing the trainer would ask for down, initially he was so excited he struggled to drop but as the session progressed he began to perform well. Roddy loved this session and showed good progress with his drops while excited.||Focus: Confidence||B|
|Skill learnt: Sit||Comment: In his second session, Roddy was very distracted by the classroom environment and struggled to show engagement, the trainer spent a couple of minutes building his engagement through engagement games. This worked well, once focused Roddy worked on building his skill sit. We focused on this skill as he often goes into drop instead of sit. He initially struggled but with some guidance, he began to perform well.||Focus: Foundation||C+|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: In his final session, Roddy focused on further developing his skill loose lead around the pet retreat facility. We focused on this skill to build his confidence and engagement, while also improving his overall walking. Roddy initially showed little engagement throughout this session, but utilising his known skill of drop, he quickly began to redirect his focus and perform well. Once engaged he shows good focus and walked well.||Focus: Distraction||B|
