|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: Session one with Roddy we started with his skill of drop. The trainer used the opportunity to go next door to the pony club and practice this skill with higher distractions and in an environment that Roddy feels comfortable in. The trainer used his ball as his rewards and roddy loved it! He was extremely excited and preformed so well. He showed no signs of being stressed and he was super happy which was great to see! Roddy held his drops with great duration and had strong engagement with the trainer.||Focus: Distraction||A|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: Session two with Roddy we practiced his skill of loose lead next door again. Roddy was a little distracted to begin with although gained great engagement when his toy was involved. Roddy was taking treats so was being rewarded with treats for his loose lead walking. Roddy had amazing engagement with the trainer and was super keen to explore the oval while showing his loose lead walking.||Focus: Distraction||A+|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: Session three with Roddy we practiced his hand shaking skill. The trainer put her hand out and once roddy put his paw out he was rewarded, he progressed quickly to putting his paw on the trainers hand which was great!! For the remainder of the session the trainer focused on repetition to further the skill.||Focus: Repetition||A+|
