Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Play Comment: Session one with Roddy we started with a play session. This will help to build Roddys confidence with training and in general. The trainer started in the kennels with Roddy throwing his ball and playing with him back and forth. Roddy was really excited and super happy with his ball. He did so well and was showing heaps of confidence during this session. Focus: Confidence A+
Skill learnt: Play Comment: Session two we practiced some engagement games which will also help with both his engagement and confidence! This session we moved to the outside grass in a calm area. Roddy was taking treats so the trainer rolled a treat to one side and when Roddy looked back the trainer rolled a treat to the other side, this was repeated throughout the session. Focus: Confidence A+
Skill learnt: Trick Training Comment: Session three with Roddy we started the skill of hand shake. The trainer put her hand out and roddy put his paw on top!! This was amazing! He was then rewarded. This was repeated throughout the session. Roddy was catching on and doing so well! The next step is to start adding a verbal cue. Focus: Foundation A+
