|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: For his first session today we worked on his loose lead walking outside with dog and people distractions. He did really well with this as he settled more and more. At the start Robbie was very excited to leave the kennels so we worked on his door manners to help him calm down and focus on his skills. Towards the end of the session Robbie was doing amazing and couldn’t care less about the distractions around her.||Focus: Distraction||A|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: Robbie’s second session today was focused on his drops around dog distractions. We were able to utilise a great opportunity to test him. Another dog has been practicing walking up and down an aisle with distractions so Robbie got to practice his drops around 4 other dogs in a controlled environment. Robbie did so well and couldn’t care less about the other dogs. While he was in a drop we kept rewarding him frequently. He even stayed in position when the trainer stood up and started clapping/cheering. This was an awesome experience for Robbie and he definitely proved himself!||Focus: Distraction||A|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: For his last session today Robbie worked on his quoits skill. We kept working on getting him to pick up the ring, he didn’t show much interest in this but would target/touch the ring with his nose. Throughout the whole session he managed to bite/nibble the ring once. Robbie did really well today, keep working on building his ring toss skill at home!||Focus: Foundation||C+|
