Robbie was a bit of a cheeky boy after his break! It took him a bit of time to settle back down into training but he was able to do some good work on his skills. He was not the biggest fan of using his paw for his artwork today though!
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!
"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."
|We focused on
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)
|Comment: For his first session we took Robbie next door to the Pony club to work on his loose lead. Robbie was quite a bit cheeky with this today - he would listen to his markers but otherwise did lots of little pulls around the oval. While it was easy to redirect his focus we would like to see him more engaged and walking better next to the trainer so keep working on this at home.
|Skill learnt: Conditioning
|Comment: For his second session we worked on some paw conditioning by having Robbie work on his paw print painting for our art week! Robbie was quite unsure about his paw being held so it took quite a bit of conditioning to be able to get him to do some quick paw prints for his art but we ended up with a little masterpiece from Mr Robbie!
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down
|Comment: For his last session we worked on some drops outside and around dogs in the kennels. Robbie does still avoid going into a full relaxed drop and was slower going into it when around the dogs in the kennels. Keep working on this skill at home and encouraging him to relax into the drop to help him settle in new environments and around triggers.
