It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Muzzle Conditioning Comment: For his first session we started muzzle conditioning with Robbie. Robbie needed a bit of a lure to focus and start putting his nose in the muzzle but once he started doing it a few times he improved and eventually started putting his nose in himself for treats. We briefly started on some duration but Robbie would often just put his nose in for a second and then break. Focus: Conditioning B
Skill learnt: Trick Training Comment: For his second session we continued with the muzzle conditioning and building duration. With this we started only rewarding for him holding it for a second or two before bringing his nose out. For the latter half of the session we worked on his roll-over again - it took a while to lure him onto his side and he only went on his back twice but he is still making good progress towards the skill. Focus: Foundation C+
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: For his last session we took Robbie outside to work on his loose lead skill. Robbie was quite distracted outside for several minutes before he start proper engaging with the trainer. While he did pull often he was very responsive to light lead pressure to come back. Continuing to work on his loose lead outside in different environments will help strengthen it for the distractions at Hedgegrove. Focus: Distraction B
