It was great to see Mr Robbie again today, the trainer was very impressed with how far he has progressed. Keep up the great work at home and we hope to see you on Saturday.
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!
"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."
|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: In his first session, Robbie focused on further developing his skill 'loose lead walking' under high distractions (walking in and around the kennels). We focused on this skill to further develop his impulse control surrounding dogs and proof his walking. Robbie performed very well, he was initially excited when walking, the trainer began to incorporate 'down' while walking which helped redirect his focus. We suggest continuing to practise this skill at home.||Focus: Distraction||A|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: In his second session, Robbie focused on further developing his skill 'drop' at a distance from his trainer (Robbie was on a long line attached to an Anker point). We focused on this skill to further proof his drops. The trainer would walk several meters away from Robbie than ask for a drop. Robbie performed very well, he continued to drop despite the new challenge and distance from trainer. The trainer was very impressed with how far he has come.||Focus: Distance||B|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: This week the doggies attended their first art class with the trainers. This involved a session full of enrichment and fun, stimulating the dogs mentally, as well as using the opportunity to condition the environment and make something beautiful to take home.||Focus: Confidence||A|

D: Beginning (60-69%) My journey is just beginning, I don’t understand just yet. Introduction phase. No distraction.
E: Unable to Progress. Needs major focus, seek further options to assist.
X: Not gradable, the focus was on Enrichment, Socialisation & Engagement.
