Robbie's Doggy Dayschool Report

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: His first session we worked on building some engagement through loose lead. As he settled in and showed more focus we found some dog distractions. Robbie did really well, only looking at them occasionally but then back to the trainer immediately afterwards. Focus: Distraction B+
Skill learnt: Conditioning Comment: This session focused on some nail board conditioning, shaping him into scratching it with his front feet. He was heavily distracted to begin with and was watching everything happening around him. We moved around a bit to help bring his focus back to us then went back to it. He showed some good understanding of this, scratching the board without much prompting. We withheld the reward until he scratched it a few times in a row to encourage more filing of his nails! Focus: Conditioning B
Skill learnt: Paws Up (on object) Comment: Lastly we had some fun with paws up on the wobble board. Robbie was quite hesitant to start with, only putting his two front feet on. Eventually we were able to lure him on all the way! He was quite wobbly so we kept working on it until he felt nice and stable with all four feet on the pod! All of his sessions today were around plenty of dog distractions, he didn’t show any negative behaviour - he would just glance in their direction but then refocus with his trainer. Focus: Confidence B
