Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: Session one with Robbie we practiced his skill of place in the water pool. This will help his fear of water and his confidence with water. Robbie begins a little nervous but warms up quickly and does really well. He is very food motivated which helps Robbie continue to get better at this skill. Focus: Conditioning A
Skill learnt: Trick Training Comment: For session two the trainer decided to practice the skill of “bubbles” while Robbie was already doing so well in the water. This skill begins by placing a treat in the water, and when Robbie goes to get it he blows air out. And then Rewarding him each time he makes bubbles. This skill will also help with Robbies confidence with water. Robbie continued to do well through the session. Focus: Conditioning A+
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: For session three with Robbie we practiced the skill drop with dog distractions. We practiced this skill in the classroom while many other dogs were training or resting. Robbie did very well at remaining in his drops until released. He had very high engagement with the trainer throughout the session. The next step for this skill would be moving outside to an environment which has higher distractions. Focus: Distraction B+

We recommend your next step should be…
