Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: In his first session, Robbie focused on further developing his skill drop and loose lead around distractions. These distractions include training in the carpark and within the kennel (can hear and smell dogs but not see them). We focused on this skill to further push his drops under distractions. Robbie was initially distracted as he was excited to be training, as he began to relax he showed more engagement and began to perform well. He did struggle with his loose lead and drop duration in the kennel, however, he did progress well throughout the session. Focus: Distraction B
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: For his second session, Robbie focused on further developing his skill loose lead, as he was struggling in his previous session. Robbie performed well, he showed good engagement despite the surrounding distractions (walking around the pet retreat facility and cattery). He can become distracted by people but redirects his focus quickly. Focus: Distraction B+
Skill learnt: Middle Position Comment: In his final session, Robbie focused on further developing his skill middle within the cattery. Robbie responds well to the verbal cue middle with a small hand signal. As he was performing well the trainer challenged him further by sending him to middle while on different angles. Robbie initially struggle to walk around the trainer into middle, however with some guidance from a lure he began to understand what to do. This is a great skill to practise at home for both fun and functional reasons. Focus: Distraction C+
