Robbie's Doggy Dayschool Report

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Conditioning Comment: After a quick photoshoot in our spa day week and valentines booth we worked on some nail board conditioning with Robbie. This can be a great way to teach them to file down their nails themselves especially as Robbie does not like his paws being handled. Robbie took to this very quickly and was soon scratching his nails lightly along the length of the board. Such a clever boy, keep up with this at home if having trouble with his nails. Focus: Conditioning B
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: For his second session we worked on loose lead outside with another dog as a distraction. Robbie did really well with this! We were able to stay about 5m away from the other dog the whole session with no reactivity at all from Robbie plus he kept great loose lead and engagement with the trainer. The only thing to improve on is some of his drops while walking - he was still a bit slow on these today. Focus: Distraction B+
Skill learnt: Conditioning Comment: For his last session we spent some time on paw conditioning and the shake paw skill. Robbie was not keen on his paw being handled but did make some attempts towards the paw skill (he would lift it or lift and lightly run it along the trainer's hand like the nail board but wouldn't keep it there). This would be good to continue working on with him to get him comfortable with having his paws handled. Focus: Conditioning C
