|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Desensitisation||Comment: Session one with Robbie We practiced Hose desensitisation outside using place. Robbie was asked to go to place, the trainer then got the hose out and rewarded him frequently. As the session went on the trainer turned the hose on and slowly increased the water speed and continually rewarding him. Robby did start off nervous but as the session progressed he did very well, he showed less fear when rewarded frequently.||Focus: Desensitisation||A|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: Session two we practiced his drop skill around other dogs, because Robbie hasn’t been in a while the trainer wanted to test where he was at. He started in the classroom while other dogs were training, he did so well the trainer decided to move outside of the kennels which is a high distraction for Robbie. Once outside the kennels there were many dogs barking at Robbie. He did not react once!! This was amazing to see.||Focus: Distraction||A+|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: For Robbie’s final session we Worked on his loose lead outside the kennels also adding emergency drops! Robbie had great engagement and didn’t react once! He did struggle slightly when to close to the Kennels by not taking treats, although once taking a step back he gained engagement again and took treats. Robbie not reacting in all three sessions was definitely amazing to see!!||Focus: Distraction||A+|
