|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: The first session was outside to work on Remi's 'place' skill in a distracting environment. The trainer utilised a long line and gradually increased the distance with sending to and from place. Remi struggled with the verbal cue at a distance greater than 3m outside, with some encouragement and repetition he showed improvement. He is very confident within the environment therefore his nose would get him distracted! It would be good for you to practice sending to and from place at a distance within different distracting environments as this will be an important safety skill.||Focus: Repetition||B|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: Remi did really well with this session! He has a great understanding of drop and performed well outside with a distance of 5m. The trainers really challenged him by asking for a drop at a distance whilst on the move! He did struggle with this however showed good progress as they continued. Well done Remi!||Focus: Distance||A|
|Skill learnt: Recall||Comment: Remi has come such a long way with his recalls! Using the long line outside the trainer would walk/run around the facility and at random would recall him (when he least expected it!). He did very well and responded instantly to the recall. He was rewarded heavily with treatos and cuddles which he certainly enjoyed. Amazing work!||Focus: Distance||A|
