It was a pleasure to train with Mr Remi again today, he is such a sweet boy who is progressing very well with all of his skills. Keep up the great work at home.
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!
"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."
|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: In his first session, Remi focused on further developing his skill 'loose lead ' walking under high distractions. These distractions included walking through the cattery with cats, multiple birds and people. Remi was initially distracted by these distractions, but with some guidance, he quickly began to redirect his focus onto the trainer. After 3 minutes Remi was ignoring all distractions without any guide or help from his trainer. We suggest continuing to practise this skill at home in and around your home, focusing on building engagement.||Focus: Distraction||B+|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: In his second session, Remi focused on further developing his skill 'Button' with repetitions within the classroom. We focused on this skill to begin adding the verbal cue 'button' and continue Remi's understanding of the skill. Reni performed very well, he loves working on this skill. Because Remi was pushing the button reliable, the trainer began to move the button around, while he continued to press the button. We suggest continuing to practice this skill at home to build engagement and have fun.||Focus: Conditioning||B+|
|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: In his final session, Remi focused on further developing his skill 'send to place ' on different objects, including a towel, small cat bed, step and a storage container lid. We focused on this skill to begin generalising his place skill to different objects. Reni performed very well, he quickly went onto the different objects and remain until released with 'break'. The trainer was very impressed with Remi during this session. Next time we would like to begin working on making his place smaller. We suggest practising this skill at home as it is great for going out to cafes.||Focus: Obedience||B+|
