|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: This session continued with the backwards hug. After last week’s introduction to the backwards hug Remi was getting the hang of it and showed lots of improvement. He has great duration with this skill (uses the opportunity for hugs and kisses), we are still using a drop first and then luring to help build his impulse control and to help him focus as he can get a little carried away with the snugs!||Focus: Conditioning||B+|
|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: This session focused on conditioning Rosie. The trainer took it in turns sending them to and from place (one was on place). Remi had full engagement and did not break place with Rosie being a distraction. No reactivity was displayed and they were able to get closer to each other. When introducing dogs controlled positions or crate training near each other is the way to go. We want them to learn to be calm around each other.||Focus: Conditioning||B+|
