A fun day with Remi as always. But he did learn as well!!!
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!
"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."
|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: Remi’s first session was a walk around the dam paddock. He was very distracted by ducks and struggled to follow simple commands at first. The trainer worked with Remi to get his focus back and Remi was then able to spin, wave and drop! Be good to get him back near there going forward and see his focus be on the trainer more than today!||Focus: Distraction||B+|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: Second session for Remi was roll over but using the treat and train machine. This was a fun session and Remi was very vocal and sneezey as at first he struggled to work out what he needed to do to get the machine to give him treats!! By the end of the session he was rolling over by himself just to get the treats! It was a session of cuddles and laughs but learning as well.||Focus: Repetition||B+|
|Skill learnt: Recall||Comment: Remi’s last session was recall in the training area with tennis balls. At first the trainer did some general work with Remi and the did some recalls on lead. As Remi settled into the session the trainer put a long lead on Remi and got him to drop and threw a tennis ball. Remi held drop but when asked to come he took off after the ball!! The trainer did a number of recalls like this and that was the only time Remi didn’t come. The trainer then took the lead off Remi and had some play with the ball. The trainer then practiced some recalls from that play and Remi did great. A big difference from his board and train here when he ran away when the trainer tried to get the lead on. Great job Remi!!||Focus: Distraction||B|
