Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: First session Remi worked on her place skill. We focused mainly on repetition and building duration. She can be hesitant at times of the bed and needs a lure to help guide her onto the bed but she gets more confident as the session progresses. Remi is able to hold her duration with low distractions. Keep working on this at home gradually increasing the distraction level to build her duration. Focus: Repetition C+
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: Remis second session we worked on her drop skill. She is showing good progress with this and required less luring as the session progressed. Remi prefers to go into a sit before going into a drop position and is reluctant to go into the drop from just a stand position but with repetition she is getting faster and going into the final position. Like with her place Remi is able to hold her duration around low distractions but can be quick to break if other staff approach. Keep building her duration at home. Focus: Repetition B
Skill learnt: Middle Position Comment: Final session Remi started working on some middles. This skill is a great safety skill, a bit of fun and great for confidence. Remi was more confident being lured from behind the trainer and then into a sit. We began luring her to walk forwards whilst in middles and turn in a circle to help push the skill. She does enjoy this skill but needs a bit of a lure still to get into position. Focus: Distance B

We recommend your next step should be…
